Have been looking for a platform for deadlifts and some power cleans. I was thinking about getting or making a dedicated platform but It would take up a lot of usable space and would be difficult to move benches around it. This platform is 3/4 thick with a waffle pattern underneath. It does deaden the vibration and sound a significant amount. It also has a ramped lip so its easy to move anything with wheels over it. Much prefer this over a metal or wood platform. I have no regrets and am really happy with this product. There were some comments about alignments of the two pieces. Mine fit together really well, I couple love taps on the sides will make the same come together really nice and make it essentially no visible. No regrets buying this platform!

I wanted something nicer than stall mat in basement gym. I deadlift on 2 foot concrete slab but will sell house someday to downsize, so do not want any repairs, and this mat is very thick and sturdy. Mat comes in two 86# pieces seamed for shipping purposes I assume. It seems made to order in two weeks or so. Machining and set up on flooring is better than expected. I will definitely keep long term.

This is the 2nd mat I added to my garage gym. It is a very sturdy mat that doesn't move around, it stays put on the floor. It is a very heavy mat. Perfect for a garage gym or cement floor. Provides good stability while working out, great for floor exercises & provides some cushion if you drop a weight.

I spent $400 plus to have this, part for functionality but mostly for the aesthetics. You will spend high quality money for something that doesn’t even line up properly. I bought I from Rogue because I trust them, but don’t make the mistake I did and save your money by looking elsewhere. These are fancy horse stall mats that done even line up where they should. What a shame. I love to support products made in the USA but this….aint it. Don’t buy unless you want to pay high quality for low quality/NO QA.

Item came defective. The "teeth" in the middle do not connect. Difficult to get good support / help. Have not received replacement yet. Disappointed.

Heavy duty platform that can handle a lot of abuse. Platform came rolled up, but laid down flat without trying to run back up like other brands I’ve seen.

I purchased this as an alternate from horse stall mats. The waffle lower theoretically should dampen the noise better than a solid floor. However, in practice, the material matters more in reducing noise. It doesn’t come close to some PLAE flooring with the increased price. There are some fitment issues as shown in the pictures, but my bigger buying factor was the sound reduction advertised.

Unfortunately the mat smells so strong that I couldn't bring it into my home basement gym. I put it out in the garage and hoped that it would air out after a few days. It's now been over three months and still smells too strong to bring inside (unless you want your whole house to smell like a tire retread facility). In my case this was a complete waste of $400. Too unwieldy to return (it weighs a ton and you'll never get it back into the box). This is the first purchase from Rogue that I regret. Only buy if you've got an outdoor/garage gym setup or enjoy the strong relentless aroma of rubber off-gassing.
