The Rogue Individual Pull-up System (or IPS, as it's known around the Rogue Compound) allows pull-ups and other bodyweight gymnastics exercises to be performed anywhere you can get the straps over. Even in home gyms without suitable wall-mount options, a set of hooks in the ceiling joists can be used for hanging the straps. This makes the IPS a great portable pull-up bar option for virtually any training space.
The Individual PU Bar System includes the same pair of heavy-duty 1.5" wide / 16' nylon straps that come standard with our Rogue Rings. These straps are available in 3 colorways (Black, Ranger Green, Desert Tan) and create a secure hold while enabling easy setup and teardown in a matter of seconds. Customers can opt to order the IPS without straps if they already own a compatible set.
The 43” pull-up bar itself is 1.25" in diameter and made from 14-gauge steel, with built-in stays for attaching the straps. Unlike traditional mounted pull-up bars, the strap-suspension design of the Individual Pull-Up System creates an unstable dynamic that requires greater core strength from the athlete to avoid swinging back and forth on the bar as they train.
To get optimal use out of the system, set the straps high for your pull-ups, then go with lower straps for dips, push-ups, etc. For added convenience, athletes can also swap out the bar with rings to create more of an all-in-one RPG (Rogue Portable Gymnastics) station.

Portability - Set Up Anywhere
The Individual Rogue Individual Pull-Up System weighs just 7 LBS in total and transports easily with relatively stress-free set-up in any training space. The pull-up bar can hang anywhere you can get the straps over, even when a wall-mount isn’t an option. Simply put hooks into the ceiling joists and hang the straps from them, being sure to mount the straps properly as noted in the User Manual (PDF).
Durable Nylon Straps
You can order the IPS with just the pull-up bar or with a set of straps in one of three colorways: Black, Desert Tan, or Ranger Green. These are the same heavy-duty nylon straps used with our Rogue Rings, measuring 1.5” in width and 16 ft. in length. Quick-feed/release cam buckles allow for easy set-up and a secure hold.
Important: Gymnastic ring straps are wear-and-tear items, so regular inspection and replacement are imperative. Read additional safety protocols here.
Quality Steel Bar
The IPS pull-up bar measures 43” in length and 1.25” in diameter, and is manufactured in the USA from 14-guage steel with stays built-in for the straps. Each bar is powder-coated in a multi-step process with a zinc phosphate plating underneath and a firm but grip-friendly exterior coat, just like our Rogue Rings. That black powdercoat finish holds chalk effectively, and also gives the bar a classic look and lasting sheen through years of use.
A Different Challenge
Training on a suspended pull-up bar adds a different dynamic to your workout vs. standard pull-ups on a stable rack or wall-mounted bar, as athletes are required to generate greater core strength through each rep to prevent the bar and straps from swinging back and forth.
Swap Out With Rings
The IPS can easily function as a convenient all-in-one pull-up / dip / ring station, as users can quickly swap out the pull-up bar with a set of Rogue Rings using the same 16’ straps.
